Joanne Kaiman is our manager of our Physical Therapy Practice and holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Florida in 1999. She relocated to the Fredericksburg area in 2002 and has extensive experience in sports rehabilitation, pediatrics, spine, manipulation and peripheral joint mobilization. She was the NOVA Rugby team physical therapist from 2002 to 2008.
Anders Brandt Joined our Practice in March 2012. He was born in Sweden and moved to the United States in 1992. He graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy in February of 2012 through the University of St. Augustine, Florida. He has worked in Physical Therapy since 1998 and his focus is on Orthopedic Physical Therapy with a strong interest in manual therapy.
Michele Shegogue graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996 with a BS in Kinesiology and from Marymount University in 1999 with a master in Physical Therapy. She is an orthopedic certified specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and certified in strength and conditioning through NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Her background is in Sports medicine and orthopedics. She has treated athletes from many colleges and minor league teams. She lived and worked in South Carolina before moving to Virginia and she joined Orthopedic Specialty Clinic in July of 2012.
Diane Bennett is an Occupational Therapist; Certified Hand Therapist. She has been practicing occupational therapy for over twenty years. In 2000, she begin to specialize in the upper extremity and in 2005, she passed a comprehensive test of advanced knowledge related to hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. She began working in our Wellford office in July 2012.
