Anders Brandt Joined our Practice in March 2012. He was born in Sweden and moved to the United States in 1992. He graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy in February of 2012 through the University of St. Augustine, Florida. He has worked in Physical Therapy since 1998 and his focus is on Orthopedic Physical Therapy with a strong interest in manual therapy.
Diane Bennett is an Occupational Therapist; Certified Hand Therapist. She has been practicing occupational therapy for over twenty years. In 2000, she begin to specialize in the upper extremity and in 2005, she passed a comprehensive test of advanced knowledge related to hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. She began working in our Wellford office in July 2012.
Joanne Kaiman is our manager of our Physical Therapy Practice and holds a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Florida in 1999. She relocated to the Fredericksburg area in 2002 and has extensive experience in sports rehabilitation, pediatrics, spine, manipulation and peripheral joint mobilization. She was the NOVA Rugby team physical therapist from 2002 to 2008.
Dr. Beamer relocated to the Fredericksburg area from Warsaw, Virginia, in the Northern Neck. He received his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia in 2013. His areas of focus include post-operative and sports related rehabilitation. Josh has a certification in Dry Needling for the treatment of neuromuscular conditions. Josh works at our Cosner location.
Katelyn joined our OSC team in 2017 after graduating from Germanna Community College with her Associates Degree in Applied Science. She enjoys working with all of our patients to rehab them back to their fullest potential. Ms. Young works at our Cosner location five days a week.
Dr. Wadsworth comes to us from Woodbridge, Virginia where she worked as a Physical Therapist for the past three years. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2012 and her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in 2015. Kellie enjoys working with patients after joint replacement surgery and high school athletes recovering from sports injuries. She loves nothing more than seeing a smiling patient at the end of recovery! Kellie is the Physical Therapy Director at our Cosner location.
Michele Shegogue graduated from the University of Maryland in 1996 with a BS in Kinesiology and from Marymount University in 1999 with a master in Physical Therapy. She is an orthopedic certified specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association and certified in strength and conditioning through NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Her background is in Sports medicine and orthopedics. She has treated athletes from many colleges and minor league teams. She lived and worked in South Carolina before moving to Virginia and she joined Orthopedic Specialty Clinic in July of 2012.
Rachel Amidon, a native of the Fredericksburg area, joined OSC in November 2019. Rachel has been a practicing PT for 19 years, specializing in orthopedic and geriatric populations. She received her Masters Degree in PT from Old Dominion University and her Doctorate Degree from Shenandoah University in 2007. Rachel works in our Cosner location.
